An owners' association, run by owners — not affiliated with Tuscany Residence Aruba, Toscano Development N.V., TM Development & Construction VBA or TRA Property & Hospitality Management VBA.

Homeowners association — in formation

Our neighborhood, run by the people who live in it

One hundred and seventy-eight households buying the same services separately, at separate prices. Together we negotiate once, share what we buy, and keep the difference. Many hands make light work.

What an owners association actually does for you

Buy once, for everyone

Internet, air conditioning service, pest control, garden maintenance, insurance, furnishing. We each arrange the same things individually today. As one customer of 178 homes we get a different price and different service — and the association keeps the margin instead of a middleman.

Decide it together

Anyone can propose a project. Everyone votes. If enough owners are in favor, the association arranges it and the costs and savings are shared per lot. No one is committed to anything a majority did not agree to.

Look out for one another

Most of us are here a few weeks a year. Knowing that neighbors check on your house, share what a contractor really charges, and can tell you which plumber turns up — that is worth as much as the discounts.

The kind of thing we mean

Ideas that owners have raised. None of these are decided — that is what the voting is for.

One connection for the park

A single business-grade line for the whole development, shared out per home. Cheaper per household than 178 separate subscriptions, and better equipment than any of us would buy alone.

Solar, bought as one order

Panels cost less by the hundred than by the dozen, and one installer for the whole street beats scheduling twelve. This one also needs the developer's agreement on the Design Guidelines — which is exactly the sort of thing that goes better with 90 owners behind it than with one.

Pooled maintenance contracts

Pool service, pest control and air conditioning are currently arranged per home. One contract covering all of them is a different negotiation entirely.

A shared accountant

Aruban property tax, tourist tax and annual filings are the same work for every owner. One firm handling all of them costs each of us a fraction of doing it separately.

How a project works

  1. 1

    Someone proposes it

A shared fiber connection. A bulk order of appliances. One gardener for the whole street. Any owner can put it forward, with an estimate of what it costs and what it saves.

  2. 2

    We work it out

Members ask questions, add what they know, and the proposal gets sharper. Often someone turns out to have already done the homework.

  3. 3

    Everyone votes

One vote per lot. A project needs both a majority in favor and enough owners taking part for the result to count.

  4. 4

    The association arranges it

Contracts, payments and follow-up run through the association, so no individual owner is left carrying it alone.

The more of us, the more we can do

Every owner who joins makes the next negotiation easier and every project cheaper per household. It is that simple.

Joining

  1. 1

    Create an account

Your name and email, and a second-step code to keep the account safe. Nothing is published, and no other member sees your details unless you choose to share them.

  2. 2

Show that you own a home here

Upload something that shows you bought at Tuscany Residence Aruba — a signed contract page, a notarial deed, a payment schedule. Only administrators see it, and it is encrypted.

  3. 3

    Get involved

An administrator confirms your ownership, usually within a few days. Then you can vote, propose projects and see what your neighbors are working on.

Questions owners ask

Are you connected to TRA or the developer?
No. This is an association of owners, run by owners. It has no relationship to Toscano Development N.V., TM Development & Construction VBA, Arpre Development 7 VBA or TRA Property & Hospitality Management VBA. We arrange things among ourselves.
Does it cost anything?
An account is free. Individual projects have their own costs, and those are always stated up front and voted on before anyone pays anything. You are never charged automatically.
Does joining commit me to anything?
No. Joining gets you a vote and access to what the association is doing. Every project you take part in is a separate, explicit choice — you can vote against something and simply not join it.
Who can see my details?
Proof of ownership is visible to administrators only and is encrypted where it is stored. Your name, email and phone number are shown to other verified members only if you switch that on.
What if I think a project is a bad idea?
Say so, and vote against it. Proposals are discussed before they go to a vote, and plenty of them get better — or dropped — because someone pointed out the flaw. A project needs both a majority and enough people taking part.
And if something needs sorting out with the developer?
Then we raise it together, properly prepared, instead of each writing our own email. An organized group of owners is simply taken more seriously than one owner alone. That is one of the things an association is for — but it is not what it is about.

We are the owners, not the developer

This association is run by and for people who bought a home at Tuscany Residence Aruba. It has no connection to Toscano Development N.V., TM Development & Construction VBA, Arpre Development 7 VBA, TRA Property & Hospitality Management VBA, or any company affiliated with them. Nothing here is an official communication from the developer or the management company. If you are looking for them, use the contact details in your own contract.
